Kevin Murphy Body Guard is a leave-in cream that smoothes dry ends and protects the hair from mechanical damage. Apply to damp hair and dry in for extra shine and protection. Increases shine, smoothes wild hair. Body Guard protects against heat damage, adds weightless moisture.

A word from Kevin Murphy:
"I never really liked serums for the hair - I felt like they made the hair too heavy. Instead, I had been experimenting with skin care serums because I felt they were lighter. I was looking for hydration, not an oil slick! The skin hydrator worked up to a point but was not gutsy enough. "The models' hair gets really bashed around and I needed something that protected it from the heat as well as put back some elasticity to the hair. So I went back to the lab and used a ton of hydrolyzed silk and vegetarian squaline for shine and vitamins for repair and protection. "I was looking to create a weightless 'serum like' product that added moisture but had no residue. I blended all these ingredients and nine essential oils (for their anti oxidant properties). The result was a weightless absorbing cream the hydrated the hair without residue and it also meant that I could apply it during the course of the day without fear of the '5pm oil slick'."

Peruvian Bark Extract: Adds moisture to damaged or colour treated hair.
Glycerine : A naturally derived humectant that is believed to penetrate the hair shaft.  It softens and swells the shaft to make it more water retentive.
Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil : Strengthening antioxidant that helps prevent breakage.
Hydrolised Silk: Adds strength to the hair with a silky feel.
Grapefruit Extract: Promotes hair growth and is cellular regenerative. It also provides beneficial treatment for oily skin and hair.
Patchouli Oil   : Balances hair and scalp.
Lime Oil   : Stimulates concentration and is a great cleanser for oily scalps and hair.
Lemon Peel Oil: Antioxidant rich.
Cinnamomum Zeyladicum Bark Oil: A tonic and freshener that has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties.
Cedarwood Oil : Helps to neutralize dandruff and improves oily scalps.
Geranium Flower Oil   : Gives hair natural shine and manageability.
Ylang Ylang Flower Oil : Balances the spirit and balances oily scalps. Penetration enhancer, balances sebum production.
Nutmeg Kernal Oil : Tones the hair and improves circulation.
